| This is what brought me to love and appreciate the Akitas, their absolute pride and strength. Their amazing character and the lovely colours. Back in 1982 this was my first experience at a show, in California where I was studying at the time. |

| This was my first experience handling at Crufts in 2006. I had the honor to handle Shyllar Time to Shine (China), thanks to my beloved and dearest friends Julie and Carl from Shyllar Akitas. |

Back again for Crufts 2007 with my friends from Shyllar Akitas, where once again they honored me by allowing me to handle two of their dogs. Pictured here in Veteran class is "Redwitch take it easy for Shyllar", we were very happy to go away with a 2nd place. |
